MEET RESCUE PLUSHIES KOALA, KILLARA

Killara is waiting for you to pick him up and give him a hug!  Killara means permanent in the Aboriginal language. This name and meaning suits him as his wish is that the koala will remain permanent residents of Australia. In order to remain happy and healthy, koalas need their trees to be permanent too! Killara will tell you "No Tree, No Me". 

KOALA PLUSHIES ON A MISSION TO SAVE THEIR SPECIES

Rescue Plushies has partnered with the Australian Koala Foundation by donating 10% of sales from each Koala Plushie sold.

I had the good fortune to visit Deborah Tabert OAM, known as "Koala Woman" and Australian Koala Foundations leader, at her home for dinner with the Jack Hanna Into the Wild film crew. This visit touched me and I have planned to give back since my visit.

Your Rescue Plushie Koala will arrive protected in a beautifully designed box.  Inside the box, saying hi to you is Killara, a hug-worthy plushie. A printed illustration card with Killara's story and a QR code where you can learn more.

Plus, you will find a mini Koala plushie key chain with a custom printed Rescue Plushie strap. You can attach your keychain to a backpack, handbag and more. This conversation starter will show your enthusiasm for Koala and remind you to talk to your friends about Koala and how to help save them. 

Killara would like to create a bond between you and the Koalas who have been rescued and living in Australia.  Connection leads to love and a desire to save them.
